Sadly not all office cleaning companies deliver a high-quality service like Tatry Group. We have heard a lot of tales of previous companies providing a poor service, not communicating or not showing up at all and this often leaves either a dirty office or you stay late to clean up.
The good news is that it's easy to tell if to change your office cleaning company. All you need to do is have a quick walk around the office!
When doing so (ideally, the morning after a clean has been done), keep an eye out for some of these 5 signs you need a better office cleaning service:
This is where your clients gain their first impression of your company. You could have an excellent, professional receptionist but the cleanliness could be letting your company down. Dirty windows and doors, dusty or sticky carpets and unkempt reception area with paperwork/leaflets etc are all bad first impressions.
If your first impression in the bathroom facilities is a horrible odour, dirty floors and toilet paper and other consumables not replenished, you do not want to work in a place like this. Your washrooms are one of the most revealing locations in your office for hygiene standards.
3. Break Area
This area or room should be relaxing and clean for both employees and visitors and can be a place where staff and company relationships are strengthened over an informal cup of coffee, lunch etc. Unprofessional cleaning standards can include dirty, smelly microwaves or fridges, sticky floors and a build-up of dirty cups.
4. Office Desks
These should be organised, clean, hygienic and productive. We have seen some that have had a build-up of dust around static computers and office chair legs etc, food spilt onto keyboards, laptops and paperwork and in some cases attracting pests.
5. Cleaning Cupboard
We always ask to see your cleaning cupboard on our initial visit and feel its paramount to keep it tidy, well-stocked, hoovered and most importantly colour coded to prevent cross-contamination and spread of infection. We have detailed signs we put on the inside of cupboards and staff are well trained in this on induction and managed after that.
