5 ways leaders can recognise good work in security

Swift recognition of good work strengthens it, increasing the likelihood that the desired conduct will become cultured and be articulated as an ordinary behaviour. Thus, please enjoy this blog post detailing five means of delivering positive and prompt feedback from Bevin Group. 
 
Verbal Praise
Simple, quick and direct, often forgotten, verbal feedback can be just as effective as any other means of recognising good performance. Done correctly, verbal praise stimulates and acknowledges behaviour to be remembered and possible improved upon.
 
Written Praise
A letter praising specific behaviour represents a tangible document and requires more effort than verbal feedback. Written praise, in particular, has be proven to produce a sense of pride and a commitment to further good efforts that extend beyond verbal honourable mentions. In additional, a letter serves as a permanent park of the worker’s record.
 
Certifications and Awards
Similarly to written praise, a certificate or award of good service signed by management is another example of tangible recognition. Photos can be taken and put up on an office wall or – better yet - shared on social media to show the worker how proud you are of their good work.   
 
Promotion

Improving Conditions
