Wishing you a very Fat Thursday! 🍩🍩🍩 It's a day to ignore calories, health benefits and clean eating to get down and dirty with a doughnut. As a company founded by and Irish man and Polish woman; and named after the Tatra Mountains in between Slovakia and Poland, we like to celebrate the Polish tradition of Tlusty Czwartek (Fat Thursday) with our team every year. Germany, Poland, Greece, Spain, Italy and Sweden all have their own version of Fat Thursday, and their own favourite junk treats so we though why not bring it to the UK! Fat Thursday is the last Thursday before the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Unlike the custom of fasting over Lent, today is specifically allocated for eating as many doughnuts as possible, according to Polish tradition. See below, a selection of pictures from us this week celebrating Tlusty Czwartek with our team! 🍩🍩🍩
