Well, if you’re reading this then it’s a pretty sure bet that you’re an Office Manager and you know damn well what an Office Manager is.
Now while that’s all well and good – as you probably already know – an Office Manager’s role can vary quite a bit from organisation to organisation.
That’s why we thought it would be a good idea to bring a bit of clarity to the role and make sure this blog post clears it up.
Aww, aren’t we nice.
Well, in our humble opinion an Office Manager is responsible for organising the efficient functioning of an office through a range of administrative, financial and managerial tasks to facilitate the smooth running of an office.
This tends to include the organising of people, information, office equipment and that all administration processes work effectively.
In smaller organisations, you'll carry out most of the tasks yourself, while in larger ones, you will supervise the work of a team of staff.
An office manager is a role that most organisations need and is vital across a vast number of industries from marketing to manufacturing and finance to health, and education.
Without you, the organisation would be stuffed and quickly run into difficulties because you’re an office ninja and deal with all the administrative tasks which make it possible for a business to function.
We have an Office Manager. And she’s great. She keeps Tatry Group ticking over and is a large part of why our clients love us so much. In fact, she’s so good we’re thinking of building a statue of her in the office.
